Dreams and Resumes

Well, after what seems like days of rain, I woke up to find today a rather nice one. I was happy and ready for the day, having also just woken up from some great dreams...I was dreaming about my musical college days and old friends. I miss playing music. I loved school and this is what's convincing me that I will do fine when I apply for and get accepted (my fingers are crossed) to one of the Montessori Training centers I am applying to. I am very interested in the course in Chennai, India partly because it is in India (I have always wanted to go there) and partly because they have made it an intensive 9 month course, instead of the 2 year course most other schools would require me to take. I have been wondering how I would do with this course though because I have been a teacher for over 3 years and haven't been a student for 8 years. It is from 8:45-3:15 everyday with 4-6 hours of organized work at home everyday to complete all of the assignments and a 90% attendance rate. Not to mention that I will be living in a completely foreign country again, with ridiculous heat from August to October (highs in the 40's), monsoons in the fall, safety issues...etc. But as I write all of this, these are the things that also draw me there and make it fascinating, exciting and wonderful! The other one that caught my eye was the one that is offered in Dublin, Ireland but I have a feeling that it might be really expensive. It'd probably be really good for me though because it would be 2 years in a convent...might help straighten me out a bit:) While application forms aren't so bad to fill out in this whole 'applying for school' ordeal, writing a brand new resume is something I have absolutely forgotten how to do. So, I turned to the trusty, old internet to help me out and now I have a few pages of notes and a list of power words to throw strategically into my new resume. So far, I have my name, address and e-mail written...gak. Hmmmm...I'll try again tomorrow:)

I'm so excited for you. If you need help on your resume, I would be happy to give my opinion. But I don't really know much about them, either.

Two years in a convent? Yow!

They'll take one look at you and say no. You are much to pretty. Guys would be scaling the walls to get a peek at you.

Only thing to do is apply to somplace warm, but not to warm. Oh, I don't know, South Florida maybe? hahaha

Thanks, I'm sure the Irish boys have plenty to look at though without laying seige on the convents:) If there is a Montessori school in South Florida that you can sell me on, I'll look into it:)
